We are thrilled to announce that Richard Cowlishaw has joined Tempus Novo as Executive Director, becoming an integral part of our executive team. Having spent the past few years as our Vice President, Richard is already embedded within our team here at Tempus Novo, but his appointment as Executive Director marks a pivotal moment in our journey as we continue to experience significant growth, with demand from businesses reaching unprecedented levels.

Richard brings with him a remarkable career history, particularly in his advocacy for the recruitment of ex-offenders into real jobs. His passion for our mission and his understanding of the Tempus Novo model were evident during his time at Clipper Logistics PLC, where he employed over 300 ex-offenders, transforming their lives and contributing to the success of the company.

Furthermore, Richard's corporate HR career spans over 30 years, during which he has operated across various industry sectors both nationally and globally. His extensive business and commercial acumen will undoubtedly play an important role in strategically advancing our ambitions at a national level.

Commenting on his appointment, Richard said: “I am delighted to be joining Tempus Novo at a time when the charity is developing significant traction across a wide Industry base and changing the lives of so many people.  Having worked with TN for a number of years now, I am immensely proud of what we have achieved collectively during my time in Industry employing ex-offenders and I am committed to supporting the growth and development of what has become a world-class charity”.

George Grant, our chairman, is equally excited about Richard’s addition to the executive team, “We extend a very warm welcome to Richard and we look forward to embarking on this transformative journey together. With his expertise and dedication, we are confident that Tempus Novo will continue to lead the way in the field of ex-offender rehabilitation and reintroduction into the workforce”.
