When the Time is Right It’s Time to Write

Tempus Novo are always keen to spread the message of hope for those that are in that positive mind set but facing the realistic frustration of finding employment after overcoming their own difficulties.

Mathew’s letter, received today, high lights that plight. We don’t have the resources or budget to advertise our services so we rely on attraction rather than promotion. Mathew’s story of having to get his life in order first is a common one. His words show real willingness and humility… so for those like Mathew, our door is always open! He’s coming ASAP for an assessment, and if his attitude matches his words… the future looks really bright for Mathew!

Matthew’s letter…

Hi Val ,

I don’t know if you will remember me, you once tried helping me find work maybe 3 years ago. My name is Matthew and at the time I lived in Cleckheaton. Unfortunately I have been in and out of prison for the last 3 years and I am doing all in my power to change my life and become a productive member of society. At the moment I am finding it really hard to gain employment and I know that you could possibly help me. I really hope so as I am in a really good place regarding housing and having dealt with my substance misuse with help from probation and services in Halifax. I’m really positive regarding the future and feel you could really help me with employment.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Yours sincerely

Matthew
