Work Hard and Succeed With Tempus Novo

What is success?

The great Pelé said: “Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.”

Hard work and success at Tempus Novo

Here at Tempus Novo, we like to give people a helping hand to turn their lives around successfully – this of course requires hard work from many different sides.

The hard work at Tempus Novo is key as the link between poverty and crime is becoming clearer, our method combats both by helping to lift people out of poverty and therefore out of crime.

Our case workers work hard supporting ex-offenders through job searching, interviews, and for a minimum of six months of their new life in sustainable employment.

Through this support, we have seen re-offending rates fall drastically in our graduates.

Our help is not the full story, however. Through their own hard work and perseverance, our graduates forge a new path for themselves.

It is down to this determination to succeed that our work with our supportive employers has become so successful for all involved parties.

Our partners that help the Tempus Novo cause echo this success. One of these employers is logistics company Clipper plc who employ a lot of our graduates in many of their warehouses, giving them a chance to prove themselves and become self-sufficient.

Clipper Group HR Director, Richard Cowlishaw has said: “When you give someone a second chance, the impact is amazing. They’re grateful, humble and hardworking. In fact, former offenders sourced through Tempus Novo are some of our best workers.”

Through joining with organisations such as the CSJ, (The Centre for Social Justice) Tempus Novo can provide a unique insight into the rehabilitation of ex-offenders and we can ensure our work continues to lift more and more people out of poverty year on year.
