Savannah is a Hidden Hero!
Our volunteer case worker, Savannah, has won the Room to Reward Hidden Hero award.
Room to Reward is a unique charity that gives back to those that give their all for good causes. Their hotel partners donate rooms for the heroes to stay in, so that they can have a well-earned rest.
Savannah has been working extremely hard and The Charity put her forward because she really deserves it.
Tempus Novo CEO, Steve Freer, said: “Savannah has been volunteering with us for 12 months now and has developed her skills tremendously in that time. When she first joined us from Leeds Trinity University, she was a shy person & lacking in confidence.
Paul and Savannah with her award.
“There is no doubt she has benefited from working at TN, and it is great to see her growing in confidence and competence as she goes about her work. Savannah now fits in very well and is a valued member of team TN.”
Savannah said: “I was really shocked and delighted. It’s really nice that the Charity put me forward for it.”
At Tempus Novo, our work is extremely important to us and so is our staff. We are all very proud of Savannah.
None more so than Operations Manager, Paul Morton, who said: “Savannah works above and beyond what is expected and required. For example, She travels down to Northampton from Leeds to help with group-work sessions and interviews at the local Department for Work and Pensions.
“These days are long and tiring and often exceed twelve hours. As always Savannah never complains and always lifts the spirits of those around her.”
